There are millions of apps on Google Play, and thousands of them in finance. So seeing Fold hold its place in the top 10 grossing Finance apps in India for a while now feels pretty special.
When we started building Fold, one of the biggest questions was simple: would people in India pay for a personal finance app?
It turns out they will, if the app is genuinely useful and treats them right. Top grossing is a simple number, but it says something we care about a lot. People are choosing to pay for Fold because it makes their money easier to understand, every single day.
Over the last few months, we've learnt so much about what people value, what they're happy to pay for, and where we still need to get better. A lot of what's in Fold today came straight from your feedback on Discord, in reviews and in your emails.
We're still a small team, building with a lot of care and figuring things out as we go. There's a long way to go from here, but milestones like this are encouraging.
